Academic Background: Hello! I am Jason Kim, currently enrolled as a SMBA student and had studied and lived in Korea for most of my life.
Working Experiece: In the past, I worked in a Korean conglomerate company name GS SHOP and had invested in several startup companies domestically and also globally. I had also worked as a marketing and planning consultant for the early startup company name Amazer. Working with Amazer had changed my future vision and goal. I want to work in a company that creates interesting contents and music as my future job. It is simply not just because I am interested in contents and entertainment but also because I have a strong belief that the entertainment industry will grow bigger and is a very prospective market in the future. Furthermore, I am also interested in working in the Silicon Valley since I am a very outgoing and passionate guy and had always admire the cool working environment that Silicon Valley has.
My interest: My hobby is partying and watching music performance, since I always enjoy hanging out with people and always love listening to music. Music was always a part of my life. During my school experience, I had participated in Man’s Choir, Varsity Ensemble and a Hip-hop music group called Groove as a vocalist. Even thou I do not have talent, I always like to participate in various activities and become a part of the group.

2. GoukJin Hwang
Academic Background: Hi. My name is Goukjin Hwang. I majored in information and communication engineering and business administration at university, I worked for four years as a Medical Representative in a pharmaceutical company called Chong Kun Dang, Because I felt the necessity of studying to succeed my father's family business, I studied at Seoul National University MBA.
My challenge: I have been climbing with my professor every week since college. At first it was hard, but when I went to work, my physical strength increased. I went to the big mountains such as Mt. Sorak and Mt. Jiris every 3 days and 4 days and 5 nights and 6 days every vacation. Before graduation, I went to the 4,300m climb in the Himalayas. This experience was one of the greatest challenges and accomplishments of my life. There were many urge to go up because of altitude sickness in the middle, but I was able to feel and learn a lot in the course of overcoming this. While I was working in the office, I had never thought that studying was harder than this.
More to say: I think that life is a work of art, and I have the idea that I am an artist of life. I am always aware of this moment now, and if I really want what I want to do, I am boldly challenging and spending my life every moment. This kind of attitude toward life has given me a lot of opportunities for learning and experience.

3. Jeong Eun Bae
Academic Background: Hi! I'm Jeong Eun Bae. I have graduated summa cum laude from one of the most prestigious universities in Gyeong Sang province called Busan National University and have majored in Linguistic and Information. The direction that I pursued and followed in the past was quite different from the actual dream that I have anticipated. After realizing my imperfection and acknowledging my weaknesses, I have applied for the SMBA program as a turning point of my life. Fortunately, I have passed the admission and now have the opportunity to study together with my fascinating classmates. I am really glad to meet all of them 😊 My main field of interest is finance/ human resource and strategy. Therefore, I am looking forward to complete the strategy track so that I can have a better opportunity to get a job that present a prominent vision of the company and have a bright prospect with strong management support from its company.
My interest: My hobby is participating in many sport activities. Among all of the sport activities that I have participated, my favorites are wakeboarding and squash. Due to my active marine sport activities (Wakeboarding, Kayak), my favorite season of the year is summer. In fact, my friends often call by my nickname summer because I like going to seas with my friends in summer. Furthermore, I also like to go out and see the art exhibitions. The most recent exhibition that I have watched is the Life of the Mari Laurang in the Seoul Arts Center. It seemed to be a very good exhibition that portrays the life of a woman. As a whole, I like to participate in activities that inspires me. The life that nurtures and always make myself a better person compared to the past.
More to say: I hope and also expect the class to intrigue me with a lot of interesting topics to discuss such as the efficient use of Big Data and other MIS topics that can be discussed throughout the Business Analytics course.

4. Dae Jun Lee
Hi mates, my name is Dae Jun Lee and I am currently enrolled as a GMBA student.
Academic Background: I graduated from Boston College as a finance/accounting major. I am glad to be here with you all. I really do not know much about big data or actually any subject matters related to computers. That being said, this class would be a great opportunity for me to learn.
My interest: I am a big fan of Real Madrid soccer team and I truly enjoy watching their games. I would love to see them claim Champions League title for three straight years, hopefully beating Barcelona on its way. I usually spend my leisure time playing games or drinking. On that note, I would like to share with you the two sports that I am good at: E-sports and Beer Pong. I think I’ve got that touch, if you know what I mean. I also love to watch drama series. The most recent one I have seen was Misty (Korean drama for those of you who do not know) and I am currently catching up on Suits season 6. My role model is Harvey Specter, one of the main characters from Suits. I also love to play golf. Personally, I think golf is the most relaxing sports there is. One can be out of shape to play and it will still be fun.
